Submissions

Please send your submission to submissions@lutyensrubinstein.co.uk and include a covering letter, a short synopsis and the first three chapters (or up to 5000 or so words).

If it is a good fit for Lutyens & Rubinstein our reader Susannah Godman will show it to the most suitable agents, but if you have a particular agent in mind for your writing do let Susannah know.

We are lucky to have found some wonderful new voices on our unsolicited submissions pile: we encourage submissions from writers currently under-represented in mainstream publishing and all material is considered with utmost care.

Please Note:

• We do not accept plays or film/television scripts.
• Please do not post unsolicited manuscripts to us. We cannot be held responsible for any material which arrives in the post or by hand.
• We try our very best to respond to each individual enquiry, but we are getting a very high number of submissions at the moment so can’t promise to come back to each one personally. If you haven’t heard back from us within 12 weeks, please do take it as confirmation that unfortunately this particular project isn’t a good fit for our agents at this time.
