Claire Fuller wins Royal Academy/Pin Drop writing prize

Claire Fuller has won the Royal Academy and Pin Drop Short Story Award, with an “exceptional” story entitled A QUIET TIDY MAN. More information is available here. Claire is the author of ‘Our Endless Numbered Days’, Published by Fig Tree books. Her second novel Swimming Lessons will be published in early 2017.

Canongate to publish Cory Taylor DYING memoir

Cory Taylor is suffering from terminal melanoma related brain cancer. At the start of 2016, she began to write about her experience of dying, and the result is a truly remarkable memoir. Jane Finigan sold the rights to Jenny Lord at Canongate. More information is available here.

Little, Brown acquires three new Mark Billingham novels

Sarah Lutyens has sold UK and commonwealth rights for three new Mark Billingham novels to Ed Wood at Little Brown. The first of these will be published in 2017. More information is available here.
