Sarah Lutyens has sold UK Commonwealth rights for Graeme Simsion’s THE ROSIE RESULT to Maxine Hitchcock at Michael Joseph, on behalf of Text Publishing. The title, due for publication on 4th April 2019, sees the return of Don, Rosie and their son, and will be the third instalment in the international bestselling ROSIE series. Maxine Hitchcock describes the book as “big on heart, brimming with irrepressible characters, smartly written and funny from start to finish […] Graeme is an immensely talented writer, brilliant at portraying complex, warm-hearted and hilariously human relationships, and we are delighted to be publishing his new novel.” Read the full Bookseller announcement here.

Her pen name is taken from Alice Thomas Ellis’ Other Side of the Fire, which is unfortunately and scandalously out of print. One of the funniest bits in the book is the bodice-ripper that one of the characters is writing and the female - who slays the men with one toss of her raven locks and one glance from her fiery green eyes as she strides among the glens, faithful wolfhound by her side - is Amaryllis! And the name just seemed to suit so here we are.
